Harwichport Cape Codder
Full of wonderful, quirky charm that is characteristic of the Cape of yesteryear, we were enlisted to re-envision this cape style home steps from the harbor. Some rooms simply needed a new coat of paint, while others were gutted and opened up to better integrate an open plan — particularly in the kitchen and dining room and adjoining family room. Original wood paneling was kept intact and replicated elsewhere to tie in old and new. The upstairs was completely gutted and reworked to turn seven pocket-sized bedrooms into four spaciously sized bedrooms and two extra bathrooms. “Modern with charm and character" was our mantra throughout the project.
